WEBterranean was founded by journalist KC Wildmoon. KC has more than 30 years experience in journalism, diligently reporting locally, regionally, nationally, internationally, and even extraterrestrially.
After 16 years as a newsdesk editor with CNN, KC spent eight years with Storyful, digging in the internet’s basements and backyards, helping other news organizations verify online content and find original posters. She has worked with ABC News, ABC Australia, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, the BBC, and many more to help them get to bottom of some of the day’s biggest stories.
And still that’s not enough. While news outlets think about the bottom line, KC thought somebody should be helping you think beyond it.
KC maintains memberships in the Society of Professional Journalists, where she is secretary of the Georgia chapter, the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association, Online News Association, and Professional Photographers of America. She also has a Part 107 Remote Pilot authorization from the FAA (that means she flies drones) and is a member of the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International and the Academy of Model Aeronautics.
